A Ventura County Superior Court judge sentenced an attorney to 240 days in jail July 7 after he pleaded guilty to six felonies and a misdemeanor in June.

Ventura attorney Mark Stein pleaded guilty to two counts of grand theft, second-degree commercial burglary, ID theft, forgery and transportation of methamphetamine, and to being under the influence of methamphetamine, a misdemeanor. Judge Bruce Clark placed Stein on three years’ probation and ordered he pay restitution to his victims.
