Finally.
The highly anticipated Apple Store on Santa Barbara’s State Street will be unveiled at 10 a.m. on May 9, the company announced.

Read the related story here.]Apple has remained mum about the store for months, even though construction permits and demolition crews confirmed that the Cupertino firm was behind the remodel of 928 State St.
this isn’t the first bite Apple has taken out of the Tri-Counties. The computer giant has stores in Simi Valley, Thousand Oaks and San Luis Obispo.
Claire Clark, San Luis Obispo’s economic development manager, said Santa Barbara could profit from the new retailer in the same way San Luis Obispo did in 2007 when an Apple Store opened at 899 Higuera St.
