A Paso Robles winery and brewery have secured top industry accolades and one of the largest vineyards in the area was acquired by the owners of the Fiji Water empire.

Paso Robles is officially the best place to get your wine and beer buzz on.

Saxum Vineyard and Firestone Walker Brewery both secured top critical accolades this year in their respective industries — accomplishments that industry insiders say lands Paso Robles a bigger star on the map.

Meanwhile, Justin Vineyards & Winery, one of the region’s largest wineries, has changed hands and is now part of billionaire Stewart Resnick’s Fiji Water and pomegranate juice empire. Terms were not disclosed, but the deal was reportedly one of the biggest in the wine business this year.

All that action brings national attention to Paso Robles, one of the world’s youngest wine regions and a hub for craft brewing.
