EmailSimi Valley Mayor Bob Huber has taken an important step toward keeping the adult film business from spilling over into Ventura County.
Following the adoption of a condom-only filming rule for the porn industry in Los Angeles County, he’s proposed an ordinance that would place similar restrictions on filming in his city. While many people view Simi Valley as an extension of the San Fernando Valley, the adult film culture that’s a hallmark of the economy in Canoga Park and vicinity has never spilled over into the East Ventura County city. Kudos to Huber for recognizing a threat to his city’s family-friendly reputation.
