Dear Editor:
I just finished reading the latest issue of the Pacific Coast Business Times and I must say it was an hour well spent. The issue I read was dated Feb. 24 – March 1 and was given to me by a fellow student in my Women’s Economic Ventures class this past Thursday night.
I find it informative, easy to read and filled with valuable information needed to help me start my new business: 2 Trees Community Suites.
I took to heart the column written by Harvey Mackay about building my “kitchen cabinet” of advisors and working to find those professionals to partner with me as I develop this new business. One of my plans is to build a dance floor and I will be contacting McCarthy Cos. to discuss my vision and plans.
Barbara Brown is someone I have known through other friends in the community and after reading all the bios on the different marketing people in the area in the Who’s Who in Advertising Marketing & PR special section I decided to give her a call as well.
Finally, I completely agree with the article written by Jen-Luc Bourdon with regards to the benefits of striving for happiness.
That has become my mantra for the past five months and it has lead me on to a path that will fulfill all my dreams both financially and emotionally. I intend to copy this article and distribute it to all my classmates next Tuesday.
We are a group of women (and men) with passions and goals of starting our own business. Our lecture last week included a discussion about the importance of happiness in our lives. I look forward to adding your newspaper to my required reading. It was informative, brief and filled with the perfect mix of business and personal growth articles. I recommend this to any local business owner.
Sincerely,
— Cynthia Schneider; 2 Trees Community Suites
