Camarillo-based Interlink Electronics, a tech company that focuses on manufacturing sensors that are used in portable electronic devices, saw revenues increase by 6 percent from $2.7 million during the second quarter last year to $2.8 million this year.
Interlink posted earnings of 8 cents per share, an improvement of 1 cent from the same quarter last year. Net income increased from $423,000 in last year’s second quarter to $480,000 this year. Total operating expenses as a percentage of total revenue grew in the second quarter from 32.8 percent in the second quarter of 2014 to 35.3 percent in 2015.
“Since we implemented our turnaround strategy, our business has made tremendous progress,” said Interlink CEO Steven Bronson. “These results were driven by our success in establishing a strong business platform that caters to customers seeking high-quality, force-sensing technology.”
