Inphi Corp. beat analyst estimates by a penny when the company released third quarter earnings on Oct. 27.
The Santa Clara-based company, which designs chips aimed at packing more memory onto Internet servers and increasing bandwidth, employs a large engineering force in Thousand Oaks. Inphi Corp. earnings were 25 cents per share, one cent greater than the 24 cents analysts predicted.
The company also beat analysts’ revenue estimates of $61.26 million by posting revenues of $62.4 million. Revenues were up 2.8 percent from $60.7 million during the third quarter last year.
As revenues grew so did operating expenses. Operating expenses climbed from $25.3 million to $38.9 million.
