Camarillo mobile gaming developer Zindagi Games has been acquired by San Francisco gaming giant Zynga.
Zynga made the announcement when the publicly traded company released fourth quarter earnings results Feb. 10. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Zindagi is made up of world-class engineers, game designers, product managers and artists who have delivered high quality games,” Zynga said in the announcement.
Zynga said it expects to release Zindagi’s Crazy Cake Swap in the first half of this year. Zindagi founders Umrao Mayer and George Simmons started the company after Mayer’s previous project ended in 2008.
Prior to co-founding Zindagi, Mayer started Camarillo-based Kush Games in 1998. That company developed sports video games for PlayStation and Xbox consoles.
