Santa Barbara serial entrepreneur Said Ziouani launched another company April 6.
Ziouani is CEO of Anchore, a new Santa Barbara company that provides a portal for security teams, inspectors and shippers to ensure proper containers get deployed to the proper place. The company was founded with $2 million in seed funding from Doug Carlisle, managing director of Menlo Ventures, and Andreas von Blottnitz, managing director of e-Ventures.
In 2013, Ziouani founded Ansible in Santa Barbara. Ansible allowed companies with large data centers or small data centers to be able to manage their infrastructure more effectively and easily.
On Oct. 16, the Morocco native sold the Durham-based IT automation company for $150 million to Raleigh, N.C.-based Red Hat.
