TrackR released its newest Bluetooth tracking device, the TrackR Pixel, on June 5, which the Santa Barbara tech company said is smaller and cheaper than its TrackR Bravo and has an LED light to find items in the dark.
About the size of a quarter, the Pixel retails for $24.99, around $5 cheaper than the Bravo. The news release also touted the company’s Crowd Locate Network, which helps customers find lost keys, phones, and pets by updating their last known location when they were in range of any TrackR user.
“Our goal is for people to no longer need to remember where all their items are located,” CEO and co-founder Chris Herbert said in a news release. “Instead, technology should keep track of where our things are for us and our families.”
The newest product has a longer range and louder ringer than previous products, the company said. It is sold online and in Best Buy stores in the U.S.
