Curvature, an information technology network company based in Santa Barbara, announced the completion of its merger with Charlotte, N.C.-based SMS Systems on July 13.
The combined company will retain the Curvature name but reveal new branding and integrated offerings on July 17. It will also be looking to expand resources at both its West Coast and East Coast headquarters, CEO John Wozniak told the Business Times.
Curvature reported more than 2,200 employees in 12 countries, including more than 400 in China and plans to expand into the Australia, South America and Africa markets. Revenues had reached $545 million with Fortune 500 companies listed among its clients.
“We really do our best to enable local staff, whether it’s in Santa Barbara or Beijing, to own the identity and the experience,” Wozniak said, adding later that “It’s perfect alignment in terms of now having excellent coverage and density.”
