Amgen announced Sept. 20 that it has joined a collaboration to create a “life science innovation hub” in Los Angeles County called BioLA. As the founding sponsor, the Thousand Oaks-based biotechnology company said it aims to advance global health and the public health care system in Los Angeles “by strengthening the county’s life sciences ecosystem.”…
