Insurance giant AIG can lay at least part of the blame for its earnings miss on the Thomas fire and Montecito mudslides last winter. In its third quarter earnings report Oct. 31, the company said it had to revise its estimates for the wildfires across California in 2017, adding another $148 million in insurance claims.…
