The Presqu’ile Winery tasting room is one of the top 10 in the U.S., according to USA Today readers.

Presqu’ile, a winery in the hills of Santa Maria, announced Aug. 23 that for the second year in a row it was honored by USA Today’s 2019 National Readers Poll of the top 10 Best Tasting Rooms in the U.S.

Presqu’ile is the only winery on the list from Santa Barbara County, a region with more than 200 wineries and tasting rooms.

“It’s always been our mission at the Presqu’ile tasting room to share our passion for the wines from Santa Maria Valley and our estate vineyard in a relaxed, elegant setting while providing world-class hospitality,” said Matt Murphy, co-founder and president. “This nomination for the top 10 Best Tasting Rooms and eighth place finish in the poll is a testament to the hard work our team puts in daily to deliver this experience.”

All voting was digitally submitted by the public, and the 10Best Readers’ Choice Award contest is accessible on the 10Best.com website.
