Get your lemon fix at the 28th annual Goleta Lemon Festival on Sept. 28-29 at Girsh Park.
One of Goleta’s biggest celebrations has outgrown the Stow House where it began because of the thousands of people who attend annual events celebrating the citrus. Goleta’s history with lemons traces back to the Stow family, which started one of the first commercial lemon operations in California.
The free event features a variety of entertainment and family activities, including all manner of lemon food, pie-eating contests, musical performances, carnival rides, arts and crafts vendors and a petting zoo.
In addition, the 14th annual Goleta Fall Classic Car and Street Rod Show will be held at the festival on Sept. 28.
