EmailAllegiant Air will start flying between Santa Maria Airport and Portland, Oregon on April 15, the discount airline announced Jan. 12.
Portland International is a new airport for Allegiant, which already offers direct flights from Santa Maria to Phoenix and Las Vegas.
The Santa Maria-Portland flight was one of 21 new routes the airline unveiled on Jan. 12, and one of two connecting Portland to California’s Central Coast. Allegiant will also add flights between Portland and Monterey Regional Airport on May 28.
