Semtech sales increased 11 percent, the company said when it reported first quarter fiscal year 2017 earnings June 1.
Semtech, a Camarillo-based supplier of analog and mixed-signal semiconductors, said revenues increased from $130 million in 2016 to $131.1 million in 2017. Net income increased from a loss of $142,000 during the same quarter in 2016 to $6.9 million in 2017.
The company also reported earnings per share of 11 cents, up from earnings per share of zero cents during the same quarter in 2016.
Semtech said it now sees earnings per share of between 12 and 17 cents per share for the fiscal year, up from a previous range of between 9 and 13 cents per share.
Revenues for the second quarter are expected to be between $130 million and $140 million, which would be up from revenues of $125 million in 2016.
