Westlake Village-based real estate investment trust LTC Properties announced July 8 that it bought a 70-unit assisted living and memory care complex near Athens, Ga., for $14.3 million.
The newly built community has 90 licensed beds and consists of 50 assisted living units and 20 dedicated memory care units.
The deal expands LTC’s relationship with the developer, Thrive Senior Living, to three projects. Two more Thrive projects are in development and expected to be completed by the end of the year.
LTC Properties shares rose 1.8 percent July 8, ending at $52.51.
