PureSpectrum, a Westlake Village startup that creates surveys for companies seeking reliable data from survey participants, raised $1.6 million July 21, it announced in an Aug. 12 news release.
Entrepreneur Michael McCrary started working full-time on the project in December. This spring he joined the California Lutheran University Center for Entrepreneurship’s Hub 101 incubator, which helped him build a team and demo of the product.
The news release did not identify the investors, but said “multiple strategic partners” funded the investment.
“To be around other entrepreneurs going through the same thing and resources is helpful, ”McCrary said in the news release.
