IT services company CompuVision announced a partnership with health care technology services company Sagewood Systems, both based in Santa Barbara, on Jan. 31.

The move will consolidate the companies’ technology, management and communications offerings under the CompuVision brand, it said in a news release, including consulting, enterprise applications and a “hyperconverged infrastructure” system that combines networking, storage and power. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“By combining our two teams we are able to provide a deep array of technology solutions as well as continuing to build our consulting practice in a complex and challenging health care arena,” said John Hunt, president and CEO of CompuVision, which had 20 employees in 2016.

Sagewood founder and CEO Bill Wood will take on the role of senior vice president of engineering. Along with Hunt, he will lead the health care division. Alberto Kywi, former chief information officer of Cottage Health, will also join the company as senior health care management consultant in charge of its health care IT strategy.
