Inphi tops expectations for third quarter earnings

Shares of Westlake Village semiconductor company Inphi rose 3 percent Nov. 2 after the company topped analyst expectations, reporting adjusted earnings of 30 cents per share for its third quarter. Revenues fell 8 percent to $78 million compared to the same quarter the prior year as demand shifted from large capacity transmissions toward data centers.…
