Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton has appointed Mark Lisa as its new CEO.

As the new leader of the 122-bed acute care hospital, Lisa, whose first official day on the job is July 23, will oversee clinical, operation and clinical activities.

“Mark is a seasoned healthcare executive with a proven track record of strong results,” Jeffrey Koury, senior vice president of operations for Tenet Healthcare Corporation’s California region, said in a news release. “Mark’s business acumen, coupled with his reputation for ensuring quality care and service, will make him an invaluable asset to the hospital and its surrounding community.”

Before beginning his tenure at Twin Cities, Lisa was CEO of Tenet’s Doctors Hospital of Manteca, and before that, he was chief operating officer of Doctors Hospital of Laredo in Laredo, Texas. He has also served as the CEO of Thayer County Health Services in Nebraska. Earlier in his career, Lisa spent 20 years with the United States Navy, where he held a series of positions in health services administration.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in information systems management from Saint Martin’s College and a master’s degree in health administration from Chapman University.

Former CEO Rick Lyons retired on July 6. When the Templeton hospital announced Lyons’ departure in June, it said it would conduct an extensive search for a new chief executive with a solid background in operations and strategy development.
