Deckers Outdoor nearly hit Wall Street expectations on the nose with second quarter earnings released by the company Oct. 29. Sales jumped 1.4 percent during the second quarter from $480.3 million last year to $ 486.9 million for the Goleta-based manufacturer of outdoor footwear apparel and accessories.
