A whistleblower lawsuit filed by a former Amgen sales representative has come back to haunt Denver-based dialysis giant DaVita. The Colorado-based company said July 3 that it has agreed to an expected $55 million settlement payment that stems from a claim that there was gross overuse of the Thousand Oaks-based biotech giant’s drugs.
